The Amalfi story is one of artisan craftsmen dedicated to a by-gone era when it meant something to be a “Master Craftsman” and that if it were worth making and owning, it should be an heirloom. Many of our craftsmen are now second generation Amalfi Master Craftsmen, still making each unique heirloom by hand, and one at a time and not finished until the artisan is satisfied.
While it might be an old-fashioned philosophy, we resist trendy market developments, manufacturing shortcuts, mass-production plants, cheaper materials, and anything that would challenge the integrity of our treasured heirlooms. Each piece is still made by hand with solid stainless steel or epoxy coated steel and our solid brass finials. Because we build each piece one at a time, we can customize any piece without extending our lead times.
